Hi guys! It’s Anya and today I am going to be doing another book review. The book I will be reviewing today is the Kane Chronicles. This is actually a series of 3 books so I will be reviewing them together.
The Kane Chronicles is a series of 3 books written by Rick Riordan. It is a fictional series based on Egyptian mythology. The two main characters are Sadie and Carter, who are siblings.
This book was very interesting to me because I love mythology. If you are not very interested in mythology or magic, I don’t recommend reading this book. It is all about Order vs. Chaos and how good will always prevail over evil.
For this specific series, the way Riordan wrote it was very different than his other books. At the beginning of the book it has a page that basically says that Riordan recieved a recording and translated the recording into the book.
I think Riordan’s purpose of writing this book was to make it seem like the reader is experiencing what is happening in the story. It made me feel like I was watching the action happen, which is one thing that really draws me into books.
I would rate this series a 10/10 I absolutely love it, and it is probably one of my favorite series ever!
