Hey guys, it’s Anya and I am back with another book review. And yes, I know almost all of my posts are book reviews. Anyway, today I am going to be reviewing the book “Maroo of the Winter Caves.”

“Maroo of the Winter Caves” book cover

“Maroo of the Winter Caves” is a book about a girl named Maroo and her family. It takes place near the end of the last Ice Age in what is now southern France, in Massif mountains. Maroo and her family are part of a tribe that has to survive in the wild.

This book is really interesting because of the plot itself. Sure, it was written well, the writing structure was nice, but the story is amazing. There are lots of plot twists that I definitely didn’t expect, and a very suspenseful climax. I read this book in my 6th grade class online, and at the end of each chapter I always wanted to read more of the book. That is one aspect that I look for in good books.

“Maroo of the Winter Caves” has a main theme of “To survive one must be ruthless, or risk the loss of many more people.” This also gives out the message of “Don’t give up no matter what obstacles are in your way.”

I definitely recommend reading this book no matter how old you are because it is very easy to read and it is an amazing book overall. I give it a 10/10, and if you want to buy the book, her is the amazon link for it : https://www.amazon.com/Maroo-Winter-Caves-Ann-Turnbull/dp/0618442995/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1P09QE40OO7R4&dchild=1&keywords=maroo+of+the+winter+caves&qid=1628361464&sprefix=maroo+of+%2Caps%2C231&sr=8-1
